Hiring a babysitter means you are putting your children’s wellbeing and safety in his or her hands, at least while they’re together. Whether it’s two, four, or more hours you have to leave them with the sitter, you are rest assured that things will go well with your kids, the sitter, and you, the parent. How can that be?
Of course you would have investigated your sitter before hiring, wouldn’t you? Background checks, request for references, etc. to be sure the babysitters are who they say they are. You’re talking about your kids’ welfare, so you definitely need to.
What really happens after you leave your children with the sitter? How do you know he or she is doing what you discussed they would be doing? Are you sure the sitter isn’t interested in the drinks in your bar, or asking friends over while you’re out?
